After the cleanup, stick around to meet Stella, the resident sea turtle, in the Nature Center. Then, resume your regularly scheduled relaxing day on the beach. Loggerhead Marinelife Center – This donation-based conservation center is located in Juno Beach, and is one of the most densely-nested loggerhead turtle nesting beaches in the world. It features up-close interactions with threatened and endangered sea turtles, as well as unique aquariums, exhibits and learning programs. Trained staff lead paddleboard, snorkel and dive excursions into the sea turtle's natural habitat, as well as specialty tours to see these gentle giants coming to nest between April and October each year.
The Norton's Free Thursdays & Saturdays – Founded in 1941, this internationally renowned cultural institution is known for its permanent collections of American, Chinese, Contemporary and European Art as well as photography. The Norton Museum of Art invites all Florida residents to explore these artistic treasures on Thursdays free of charge through September 3, 2015. Similarly, Palm Beach County residents receive complimentary admission on Saturdays throughout the year.
